ALANDALES was born in 1969 when Glenn Laiken heard about a designer named Pierre Cardin of France who wanted to export his collections to North America. Glenn immediately flew to Paris and knew it was time to introduce clothing that related to his generation, clothing that was sexy and had great style. Glenn Laiken was 22 years old and ready to rock.   ALANDALES was originally in Westwood Village, just down the road from UCLA. Glenn traveled to Western Europe and introduced fine quality men's European fashion from France, Italy, England, Germany, Sweden and other countries of the free world. Being that ALANDALES was a pioneer of European fashion and quality menswear the store quickly became a show place for the who's who from all over America. The entertainment industry quickly discovered ALANDALES and the rest is history. ALANDALES provides Glenn Laiken designed products to virtually every major studio and many television shows starting from 1969 to today. ALANDALES is currently in Downtown Culver City, a stones throw from Sony Studios.
